If you’ve ever played the game Chinese Whispers, you’ll know that what starts out as a story is changed by being passed around in a whisper. Each time the story is repeated it differs slightly from the original so that the final version can be utter nonsense. When this comes to gossip amongst friends, what starts out as innocent story telling can sometimes become a lot more serious.

Here’s what you’ll hear this episode:

  • Why talking about other people is unhealthy
  • Why you should make your own decisions about other people and not listen to gossip
  • How gossip turns to bullying
  • How bullies stay powerful and what to do when you’re being bullied
  • What you can do to stop gossip in its tracks
