A monthly mentorship for professionals who want to feel inspired and empowered to champion children…without the burnout!
Are you ready to swap the overwhelm for a super stream of support & inspiration?
People who work with children are overlooked. Nurturing a new generation isn’t for the faint-hearted. In fact, it’s one of the most important jobs. It requires gumption, knowledge, experience, imagination, and patience…oh and large doses of empathy.
You make it look easy, but in reality, I’m sure you’re cycling through those stressful feelings regularly! Most of us keep calm and carry on.
Well, on the outside, but inside we have that nagging doubt, ‘Am I doing enough?’ We second guess ourselves, ‘Am I doing this right?’
If that sounds familiar, I promise that you will love The Fountain. My new supportive and inspiring mentorship will leave you overflowing with motivation and confidence.

Jemma finds The Fountain a valuable resource to initiate those tricky conversations and get children talking!
During lockdown, I started talking to Jemma, who had been using my book and Truly Madly Smiley in her role as a Family Support Worker. You’ll hear us discussing the current challenges children face, and the best way to support them.
“Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable about what children need. I’ve learnt a lot from her in a short space of time. Not only does she have a wealth of experience, but she has this lovely way of engaging children of all ages and reaching them on their level. She’s very real and her energy has definitely rubbed off on me! When you work with her, you’ll experience a very deep thinking, creative mind, a tenacious problem solver and razor-sharp intuition. The most powerful sessions I’ve had with her are when I think I’m done and I’ve got nothing to say. She gets me to dig deeper, and after 50 minutes, it’s all out. The clarity brings relief and I leave the call thinking – WOW how did that happen!? “
“Lisa is compassionately curious. Since working with her, I’ve gained helpful new insights about myself in relation to the children I work with. I’ve noticed that nagging voice of self-doubt is quieter and I’m less overwhelmed. Lisa has a knack of knowing when to push and when to step back. She’s taught me this too, and I have more confidence to let things play out and trust the process. We’ve done a lot of creative exploration and I’ve since used these tools in my work with children. I’ve definitely reconnected with that part of myself, and have more self-empathy and self-compassion. It’s been a worthwhile experience and investment in my personal development.”
“I’ve found the courage to do it differently. When I first started working with Lisa, I set a goal to have more belief in my hunches and to speak up for change in my work. I’ve so many ideas about how we could improve the daily life of the children I work with. Over time, I’ve found more courage (my powerful voice as Lisa calls it!). I’ve been able to influence and affect small changes that I never thought were possible. I value myself and my work more. I even noticed the other day, how my boundaries are clearer and firmer – without the guilt! Thank you so much for helping me find my own special brand of courage and enjoy work again!”
I’ve got answers!
Who is The Fountain for?
Professionals looking for change and seeking on-going inspiration, ideas and support in a community of like-minded souls. If you’re looking:
- to broaden your knowledge and expand your mind to reach and connect with children in new ways
- for a super stream of creative ideas and resources to inspire and motivate you
- for answers to questions about the work you do with children
- to learn new ways of supporting, inspiring and empowering children to unlock their own inner magic
- to dissolve the stress and overwhelm, so you can show up as your best self
- to find alternative ways to meet children’s emotional needs – the current system frustrates you, but you don’t know where to begin
- to understand more about trauma-informed learning and creating emotionally safe learning spaces
How will The Fountain make a massive difference to my work?
Children are screaming out for more! An anxiety epidemic, increasing mental health concerns and suicide rates tell us that we’re definitely not doing enough.
The Fountain not only makes you part of a drive for change which answers the call of these young souls, but it also makes sure you reprioritise your time and attention where it’s needed most. When we put the focus on taking care of children’s emotional needs (and off punishment/reward behavioural management), we have less stress, more fulfilment, and children who are more cooperative and open to listening and learning. The old way damages their self-esteem and creates distress and trauma.
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” ~ Aristotle.
Never has there been a better and more important time for the new. When you learn and grow, they do too. In fact with The Fountain, you’ll all be positively flourishing.
Will I get to learn directly from Lisa?
How much time will it require from me?
As much or as little as you want. The monthly group mentoring session with Lisa is on average 60 minutes. You can spend hours each month conversing with other members, listening to Truly Madly Smiley, and enjoying The Play Box… or you can just drop in whenever you’re in need of inspiration and support.
I’ve been working with children for years. Will The Fountain have anything to offer me?
Definitely! The Fountain will consistently support and inspire you. You’ll have a community of like-minded souls outside of your professional space. Sometimes it’s easier to share that way. I will meet you wherever you are and make it effortless and fun to connect with children in more meaningful and creative ways.
How can I access all the materials?
When you complete your payment details you will be emailed a link to log in to a password protected membership area where all content will be accessible. Content will also be posted in the private Facebook group.
What's in The Play Box?
I believe in integrating the mind, body and soul and that we carry innate wisdom to heal ourselves. All my work is underpinned by attachment theory and is trauma-informed.
What's Truly Madly Smiley?
Isn't Truly Madly Smiley just for children?
No! You can get really smart and use Truly Madly Smiley as a peer observation tool. Listen to the language I use, how I validate and meet children where they are. Develop your own styles for storytelling, analogies and ways of expressing feelings and that which we cannot see. We will work on this more in our group mentoring session and you’ll also see my recommendations in the Monthly Magic page of your printables.
Truly Madly Smiley is an excellent source of inspiration for your lesson plans and practical tools for getting the best out of children. You can, of course, play it directly to them in your learning space. The creative and relaxation activities work well in a group setting, as well as initiate much-needed discussions about feelings, life and relationships. You’ll be surprised how it gives them permission to talk more freely.
You could also use Truly Madly Smiley for assemblies, after school clubs, themed weeks and to begin or end your learning day. It ticks all the boxes when it comes to emotional wellbeing. When children feel safe, they apply themselves to learning more readily and are motivated to do their very best.
How does the live group mentoring session work?
This powerful 60-minute group mentoring session with Lisa takes place in the private Facebook Group on the last Tuesday every month at 8pm (UK Time). You can submit your questions to Lisa ahead of time. If you miss it, you can catch up on the replay and watch it at your convenience.
