Reflections on Self-Love for Mother’s Day
Today on The Wildheart Diaries, I’m talking about the power and complexities of the Mothership. Let’s explore why for years, women lose themselves in their children and in mothering others, leaving themselves at the bottom of the pile (after the laundry and washing up). How is it that we think being a good mother is to run ourselves ragged taking care of others, when we don’t even know how to fully love ourselves? I think it’s time to reclaim this day and take back our power. Instead of waiting for people to celebrate and appreciate you, it’s your time to focus on what makes you truly happy.
